Lag b’Omer 2021

Lag b’Omer is a minor holiday that occurs on the 33rd day of the Omer, the 49-day period between Passover and Shavuot. On this day it is permitted to hold festive events.

Last week we had a great time celebrating Lag BaOmer. The students participated in numerous fun and engaging activities throughout the day. Some of our socially distant games included a ring toss game, knocking down a pyramid of cups and a beam bag toss, to name a few. We also had an engaging arts and crafts activity, for Lag BaOmer as well as a video commemorating the events of the day. Afterwords we will were served pizza and individual juice boxes. Overall it was a fun and exciting carnival for everyone!

At Ohr Chadash, we teach the children about each of the Jewish holidays in a manner that brings these days to life.

Ohr Chadash celebrated Lag b’Omer with games and activities for our students! A pizza party followed and a fun time was had by all!
