The PJ Library

pj-library
PJ Library is a Jewish Family Engagement Program implemented on a local level throughout North America. We mail free, high-quality Jewish children’s literature and music to families across the continent on a monthly basis.

Please click here to learn about September events for the entire family.

PJ Library is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, made possible through partnerships with philanthropists and local Jewish organizations. Today, families in hundreds of communities across the United States and Canada are able to explore the timeless core values of Judaism through books and music.

All families raising Jewish children from age six months of age through five, six, seven or eight years (depending on the community) are welcome to sign up.

ICCJ, HHBJC, and HJC have formed local PJ communities thanks to the generosity of our members. We are also grateful for the support of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s Read NY which provides funds for our PJ subscriptions.

You may access each synagogue’s information on the PJ Library website, www.pjlibrary.org under “Communities.” Hillcrest Jewish Center and Israel Center of Conservative Judaism may be found under the Northeast Queens Partnership and Hollis Hills Bayside Jewish Center is under its own name. We have long been called the People of the Book and now we have the chance to live up to this name quite literally. We have a thrilling opportunity to build a stronger Jewish people through books

For further information, you may contact Sylvia Kogan (Hillcrest Jewish Center) or Arlene Ratzabi (Israel Center of Conservative Judaism) for the Northeast Queens Partnership and Rebecca Reich for Hollis Hills Bayside Jewish Center PJ Communities..
